in Germany you can chat with MS all day long and they give you no reasonable answer...
so I hope your replacement is still o.k. and wish you all the best.

my Surface 4 is also getting worse day by day (flickering starts 3 years and 4 month after buying..... of course no computer, tablet, phone should be older than 1 year and a half....customers have to support MS ).
I, too, tell everbody NOT to buy these products. If MS have given me an answer to my problem, even if I have to pay some €, I could see this different. So they stole my time (diagnostic tools, setting back, erase all apps, they asked me to send a video, lenght at least xx minutes) and NOTHING ever happened to help me.
So don't buy a MS computer'!

Hallo, at first I thought I got helpful advice. The screen flickert only a little bit in the lower part. Microsoft chanced the pencil and the first run of the diagnostic toolkit seemed to help (I was in the 'three years'). The Surface seemed to be ok again.
so perhaps the things might help you.
But I have to say: The flickering came back after a few weeks. I did a lot of noting with drawboard pdf and onenote during work with the surface, it got hot (?) and it is worse than ever. I can not use the Surface anymore.

I was also 6 months past…. -:( I spent a lot of time by chatting with the Service Hotline, doing Surface diagnostic toolkits, Windows repair toolkits, Microssoft Germany asked me to sent a Video, at least 2-3 min. long.....and nothing ever happend. The flickering is worse than ever. I don't even get a simple apology. So I will never ever buy a Microsoft product again, I already bought some devices (phone, watch and tablet) of the company with the "fruit".
